Our Executive Team have this morning conducted a safety assessment of the areas of the Rec grounds we are using for our modified program. A number of safety issues were identified including:
– Deteriorated road at causeway entry to Rec Grounds following flooding
– Reduced dry areas for cars to safely park
– Long jump pit unusable
– Village Green very wet with large areas of standing water
– Gravel track used for running rutted and slippery
As always, the safety of our athletes, volunteers and Stormers families is our utmost priority, so we have made the decision to cancel today’s Stormers session, Wednesday 2/11/22
