Welcome to the 2025/26 Little Athletics Season!
Dear Murrumbateman Little Athletics Members,
We are excited to welcome you all to the start of the 2025/2026 season on 29 October! As we prepare for another fantastic season of athletics, we look forward to welcoming both returning and new members to our vibrant community.
On behalf of the club, I would like to introduce myself as the new club president, David Wight, along with our Vice President, Karl Reynolds. We are eager to work alongside each of you to create a fun, inclusive, and thriving environment for all our young athletes.
We also want to express our heartfelt gratitude to Lisa and Kane for their incredible stewardship of our organisation in the past seasons. Their dedication and passion have laid a strong foundation for our club, and we are truly thankful for their contributions.
The club needs support from the parents. If you are interested in volunteering, please don’t hesitate to reach out.
Positions that are currently available are:
- Ordinary Exec Committee Members
- Grounds Manager
- Age Managers (perfect for the parent of a child in that group, no coaching or athletics experience necessary)
- Coaches (some athletics or coaching experience preferred; the club will pay for athletics coaching training courses)
- Tiny tots assistant
We will be holding a preseason meeting at the Murrumbateman Country Inn on Wednesday, 3 September at 6 pm. We hope you will join us.
