A big Stormers Shout-Out to our Grounds Crew for working hard over the past week getting the oval, long jump and throws areas ready for a busy season!
Out-going Grounds Manager Adam Karszniewicz spent a couple of hours on Sunday morning training some of our new Grounds Crew members in how to use the line marking machine while marking out our throws areas and additional sprints track. Thank you Adam for all of your hard work for the Club in previous seasons and for this last important part of handing over the skills and knowledge to new team members.
John Cuthbert, Catherine Brown and Stuart Brown also gave up their Sunday mornings to learn how to do the line marking and are now ready to train the rest of our Grounds Crew, thanks team!
Our Grounds Manager Helene Rushby has been busy working with council in recent weeks to line up the details of our booking and payments for hire of the Oval including mowing and our shared use of the facility through the season. Thanks so much Helene!
The oval looks so good! We are appreciative of the beautiful new oval surface and our team all working together to have it ready for our little athletes.
