A big Stormers Shout-Out to a small group of athletes who represented Murrumbateman at the Capital Athletics U9 to U13 Championships last weekend.
Well done to Alan McCrae, Esther Payne, Zoe Rushby, Teuila Teofilo and Bridie Iglewski for your efforts at the event. We are so proud to have received feedback that our Murrumbateman Stormers instigated shaking hands at the end of races, hugging, cheering each other on and being so respectful to everyone. That’s the Stormers Spirit!

Bridie Iglewski – PB’s in 100m, 400m and javelin.
Zoe Rushby – PBs in 100m, 400m (4th place), 1500m (4th place), discus and javelin.
Teuila Teofilo – had an outstanding weekend with 1st place in:

200m – 28.88
400m – 1.06.21
High jump – 1.30m
