Session #5 – 4/12/2024
Welcome back Stormers for Session 5!
We are sure all of our Stormers athletes are ready to go after last week’s session was cancelled. We look forward to seeing everyone tomorrow! Here are is the key information families need to know:
This week we continue recording results across all age groups. Parents please be ready to help with measuring, timing and recording results. We still have lots of our previous season uniforms for sale. $10 each, cash or card. Come and see us at the rego desk. Once you have your new uniform tops please attach the registration patches as shown below. We need help each week with setup of equipment from 5.30pm and pack up at the end of the session until 8pm. If you can help please let us know. The Session plan shows events and times for each age group, our map below shows where each event is held. REMINDER – parents are expected to stay onsite, with your children and assist the age managers in the running of the evening. How to help at Little Athletics Parents please be aware Age Managers and Coaches need support to deal with any behaviour issues in Age Groups. If children are being unsafe, disrespectful or causing issues they are encouraged to stop them, ask them to sit out, ask their parent to take action or if a parent isn’t with the group seek assistance from the Exec Team. We do want the kids to have fun, but they also are expected to listen, follow the rules and be safe. By stopping poor behaviour quickly we will ensure everyone has clear expectations of how to behave at little athletics and make sure all kids feel safe and enjoy the sessions.
