Session #4 – 22/11/2023
Rolling in to our 4th session of the season and in exciting news we get to use our new long jump pit this week! Still not 100% finished, the run-up will be getting a synthetic surface applied in a few weeks time and we are in the process of getting quotes for a cover for the pit.
Here are is the key information families need to know this week:
We are looking for Club Coaches! Background or experience in athletics or coaching would be great however not mandatory. The club will pay for coaching courses with one coming up in December. If you or someone you know is interested please let Head Coach Kane know – Email A reminder to collect Rego patches then please attach patches to uniforms as shown here and below. Athletes should be wearing their Stormers uniform with black bottoms. If you haven’t already order your uniform ASAP here Warm up starts for all groups at 6pm at the Village green (where the markets are held) Athletes will then line up in age groups, meet their Age Manager and head off to their first activity of the night. REMINDER – parents are expected to stay onsite, with your children and assist the age managers in the running of the evening. We will be recording events this week.
