Session #1 – 1/11/2023
Welcome Stormers to our first training session of the 2023/24 little athletics season!
We are so happy to be back delivering our fifth season of little athletics in Murrumbateman and we can’t wait to see all our Stormers athletes and families later today!
Here are is the key information families need to know:
Rego patches and a small amount of club stock uniforms will be available in the markets shed from 5.40pm. If your athlete does not yet have their uniform no problem, we know delivery of some uniform items are taking a while. Black bottoms and any shirt will be fine. If you haven’t already ordered your uniform please do so ASAP here Warm up starts for all groups at 6pm at the Village green (where the markets are held) Athletes will then line up in age groups, meet their Age Manager and head off to their first activity of the night. REMINDER – parents are expected to stay onsite, with your children and assist the age managers in the running of the evening. Thanks to Canteen Manager Emma and the U13-U17 parents, BBQ will be on tonight! Sausage sandwiches $2.50 each, we take cash and card. Session Plan for download and printing. Important-Please be careful when driving in, around and parking at the Rec grounds. It is a busy area with lots of young children moving around, go slow and please use common sense. Please be patient. Our first session is always a bit crazy, with new families, new volunteers and inevitable teething issues. Please take note of the updated map of our grounds below, including where the parking area is, out behind the markets shed.
